The H 15 is a product of Opticon. The product is a terminal running the Windows CE 5.0 operating system., featuring a touch screen. The H 15 does have a Micro SD slot behind the battery compartment.

Performing a Warm Boot ( Soft Reset ) on the H15

To perform a Warm Boot on the H15, press and hold the following keys at the same time: "F1"+"F4". Then release the buttons. A Warm Boot will not delete any data or erase settings.

Performing a Cold Boot ( Hard Reset ) on the H15

To perform a Cold Boot on the H15, a sequence of buttons has to be pressed. To cold boot press and hold the following keys at the same time: "F1"+"F4"+"Power Button", then release them.
The device should now perform a Cold Boot.

WARNING: A cold boot resets the device into factory default settings. All data that is not in the DiskOnChip folder of the device, will be deleted.

Where can the software version be found on this device?

Please go to Start > Settings > Control panel > Control center > Information > SW Version.

I have troubles connecting the device to my PC.

These problems may be caused by ActiveSync or Windows Mobile Device Center.

Can the H15 be charged without a cradle?

No, the cradle needs to be used to charge the H 15.

How can I configure WiFi setting on my PHL-8000 or H15 device?

The WiFi module integrated in the PHL 8000 is from Summit Data Communication, Inc. and the WiFi management Software is from the same company. You can find the user manual of the Software here or if you prefer, it is possible to download a PDF Quick Start Guide.

The WiFi card supports Cisco Compatible Extensions.
